ARCADIS Aqumen wins contract from Van Lanschot  
 

ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consultancy, design and engineering company, announced today that ARCADIS AQUMEN FACILITY MANAGEMENT (AAFM), in which ARCADIS has a 50% stake, has won a contract from Van Lanschot Bankiers under which it will perform facility management services for this bank. The contract is for a 5 year period. Approximately 35 employees of Van Lanschot who were responsible for facility management within the bank will be employed by AAFM.

It is the first time that AAFM has signed a contract in the financial sector where the introduction of facility management services can lead to greater efficiencies. The contract will start on January 1, 2009.

"This new contract is a good addition to the existing contracts for AAFM and an additional growth opportunity in this segment. It demonstrates that AAFM is not only able to add value in an industrial setting, but also in services firms," according to ARCADIS Executive Board member Michiel Jaski, responsible for AAFM.
