ARCADIS Deutschland GmbH, has taken over 100% of Dresdner Grundwasser Consulting GmbH (DGC), an engineering company, specialized in water resource management, treatment and distribution. DGC has 19 employees and a turnover of approximately € 1.2 million. DGC will operate as a separate entity within the German ARCADIS activities.

With this step DGC will have access to all available ARCADIS technologies, strengthening its market offering and growth opportunities. At the moment DGC offers mainly consulting, engineering and project management services in the fields of water resource management, treatment and distribution. DGC was founded in 1990 as an independent engineering firm. Its clients include sections of the Saxon government, as well as private sector companies.

„Increasingly, our clients want integrated project solutions. The combination with ARCADIS allows us to not only provide a complete service package, but also to optimize the process in all phases of a project," said Dieter Eichhorn, Director of DGC.
