New director ARCADIS Geotécnica in Chile  
 

ARCADIS (NASDAQ: ARCAF, EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consulting and engineering company, today announced that Mr. Hernán Bezamat Cuadra (51) has been appointed as of April 1, 2007 to the position of  Director of ARCADIS Geotécnica Consultores SA, its Chilean subsidiary. He succeeds Mr. Javier Hurtado who has left the Company to take a position with the Chilean Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Bezamat has extensive experience in the Chilean market, as well as international experience. He has worked with Shell for most of his career, where he was – amongst other things – responsible for Shell's chemical and oil products sales to the mining industry.  Mining is currently an important client group for ARCADIS in Chile. Mr. Bezamat holds a chemical engineering degree from the University of Chile and a post graduate degree in management from the University Adolfo Ibáńez.
