Full remediation with regulatory closure as contractual endpoint
We guarantee a clean location. By clean we mean that we will provide regulatory closure: a formal consent by the regulatory authority that the site is clean. We will conduct all activities needed to achieve  regulatory closure. This includes investigative work, engineering, negotiations with authorities and the execution of the remediation activities.

Guaranteed fixed price, no change orders
Our guarantee means that we commit ourselves to the end result. We don't just guarantee to  provide a certain amount of work for a fixed fee.  This would still result in change orders every time there is a setback in the project.

With the ARCADIS GRiP® Remediation Program change orders will not arise. There have been no change orders issued to clients in any of the dozens of GRiP® projects performed to date. ARCADIS really guarantees that the problem will be fully solved according to the contracted GRiP® Remedation Program price.

Time and cost effective remediation through use of innovative technologies
We are able to provide these guarantees because we use innovative, state of the art remediation techniques. This allows us to treat the contamination – in-situ (in-place) – by using biological and chemical processes. As a result the remediation can be conducted faster and less expensive than with more traditional techniques.

The in-situ techniques we apply are mostly developed and proven in practice in projects in the USA. There, the use of these innovative technologies is much  further advanced and ARCADIS owns dozens of  innovative patents. In Europe we take advantage of this advanced technological know-how and experience because we work closely with our worldwide ARCADIS competence center in the United States.
Although in Europe other companies experiment  with these techniques, none of them has the  comprehensive, hands-on experience as ARCADIS, nor can they provide the same securities.

Professional risk management, including
insurance of risks
We are able to provide the comprehensive guarantee thanks to professional risk management. This is based primarily on our technical competencies and vast experience, but we also cover risks by using custom designed  insurance products through well-known  international insurance companies. Both ARCADIS and our clients are protected and our clients can feel secure in the knowledge that the remediation will be conducted to conclusion.
