Cleveland / Bradley County GIS system

ARCADIS provided global positioning system (GPS) surveys and monument installation for the Cleveland/Bradley County Geographical Information System Board.

The scope of work included:

  • Labor, vehicles, and supervision to conduct horizontal and vertical observations (raw data) of 96 points and necessary control to support 1:50,000 horizontal precision and 1 to 3 centimeter vertical precision for interior control monuments in Bradley County.
  • Installation of 66 additional monuments to support 2-foot contour generation in the City of Cleveland and industrial site. Also provided reconnaissance, installation, to-reach information, and targeting (target recovery) for each point.
  • Geodesist to conduct constraint and computation for all observations with four GPS receivers.
  • Installation of 56 permanent control monuments according to control layout. Also provided reconnaissance, installation, targeting (target recovery), and to-reach information for each point.
